Dear Friend of Life After Hate,

Every day, across the country, people are making choices that either move them toward harm— or toward healing. And in that fragile space between the two, your generosity has become a lifeline.

Your support strengthens the intervention programs that reach individuals before they cross a line they can never uncross.

Together, we stand beside families at the exact moment they feel most alone. When a parent sees their child slipping into an ideology built on fear and hate, they often have nowhere to turn. But with your help, they receive critical guidance, safety planning, and a path through crisis. You give families hope—and often, help them keep their loved one safe.

Your commitment goes even further. You provide the resources needed for our team to create individualized plans that allow people who are ready for real change to step out of hate and into accountability, healing, and community. This work is deeply personal and transformational, and it lasts. Because of you, people once consumed by hate find a way back to their humanity.

And the impact extends well beyond any single moment. With every life redirected, every family supported, every act of violence prevented, you are shaping stronger and safer communities, places grounded in dignity, compassion, and the democratic values that allow all of us to thrive. You are helping build a future where hate has less room to grow.

This is the work you make possible. This is the difference we create – together.

As the year draws to a close, we invite you to continue standing with us. Your continued support ensures that the people who need us most will have a place to turn tomorrow. Together, we can prevent harm, protect families, and enable real transformation.

Thank you for believing that change is possible. And thank you for being part of that change.

With Gratitude,
Heather and Shannon

Claiming My Freedom to Thrive
From the frontlines of hate to a life of healing, Corey’s journey is nothing short of remarkable. In this episode, he opens up about his rise within a violent skinhead group, his struggles with addiction, and the hard-won freedom he found from hate. Corey’s story is a powerful exploration of the human need for belonging—and how he discovered it not in violence, but in family, community, and helping others break free from the same destructive patterns.
